The Chicago Funk pays tribute to the music of Earth, Wind & Fire.
For more than 50 years, Earth, Wind & Fire has been synonymous with groovy disco beats and packed dance floors. As runner-up of the SBS6 television program ‘The Tribute, Battle of the Bands’ in season 2, The Chicago Funk page has proven that the magic of old soul, funk & disco is still alive. During their theater tour they also got everyone dancing to the music of Earth, Wind & Fire!
The original pop group Earth, Wind & Fire is known for the high notes of Phillip Bailey, the warm sound of Maurice White and the recognizable voice of Ralph Johnson. These distinctive voices had to remain and be honored. Those voices are found in the Dutch artists Nigel Brown, Clayton Peroti and Clifton End.
All hits such as ‘Boogie Wonderland’, ‘In the Stone’, ‘After the Love has Gone’ and of course world hit ‘September’ are featured. Expect various extravagant costume changes, the signature high singing notes and groovy and compelling beats. “When you close your eyes, Earth, Wind & Fire should be in front of you,” that is the premise of this 13-piece tribute band.
Put on your most exuberant disco outfit and “Revive the 70’s & 80’s Again” with The Chicago Funk.

THE CHICAGO FUNK (EARTH, WIND & FIRE TRIBUTE)
Top musicians, each with their own feeling and story and the preference for Earth Wind and Fire that is what had to be brought together was the idea of Producer StagePro productions BV. Together they found an unparalleled team of musicians who had exactly the same love for this world-famous band. The authentic Earth, Wind & Fire sound was priority 1 because it had to be a “Tribute to” and not a parody or sound mix act.
Clothing, dance moves, highlights in the music, everything has to be right and the more the creative team worked on this, the more driven the musicians became to deliver this Tribute act to perfection and with the right groove. “When you close your eyes, Earth, Wind & Fire should be in front of you” is the starting point of this Tribute band. “The Show must be American Big” said the Production team to its musicians and together they did everything they could to get the right sound, to perfection.
