Over Mark Stroop

Young trombone player Mark Stroop has mostly been active in the Dutch big band scene, in the south of Holland. He had the honour of accompanying artists on stage like Deborah Carter, Fay Claassen, Karin Bloemen, Shirma Rouse, Maarten Hogenhuis and Dan Barett.

He was selected for the ‘Young Metropole Orchestra’ in 2018.
Furthermore, he was in several hornsections of various pop-bands and tribute-acts over the last couple years, before joining The Chicago Funk in 2025 with his sumptuous trombone sound and impressive chops.

Singer, dancer and actor with a track record spanning from Idols finalist to international chart hit with Chocolate Puma. Has worked with global stars and played Mufasa in The Lion King.

Sietse Huisman

Drummer with 35 years of national and international stage experience. Founder of The Pact and active with NW FRQNC and The Time Bandits. Has worked with Jan Akkerman, Willeke Alberti and Mike Stern, among others.

Bassist

Roni Jonker

Versatile bassist with a conservatory background and a passion for soul, funk and fusion. Toured with the Ana Popovic Band for over ten years and performs with The Time Bandits and NW FRQNC.

Gitarist

Martin Djababoe

Guitarist of Moluccan roots with over 30 years of experience in the Dutch pop scene. Performed with Thomas Berge and Alain Clarke, and combines his musicianship with a career as a professional dancer and choreographer.

Clayton Peroti

Surinamese-born lead vocalist with an impressive international career. From gospel trio to major musical productions including Tarzan and The Lion King, and a John Kraaijkamp Musical Award to his name.

Clifton End

Born in Curaçao, known from various Dutch television singing competitions. An artist with an exceptionally high vocal range and soulful sound, celebrated both in the Netherlands and across the Dutch Caribbean.

Percussionist

Dwight Muskita

Percussionist of Dutch-Moluccan roots performing on the world’s biggest stages since 1985. Has shared the stage with Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder and Phil Collins, and was voted Best Percussionist of the Benelux twice.

Toetsen

Will Maas

Session musician with 40 years of experience, voted best keyboard player in the Netherlands by his fellow musicians. Has worked with Marco Borsato, Beth Hart and Floor Jansen, and teaches at the Rock Academy in Tilburg.
