Trumpetplayer, arranger and producer Daan Bogers is a reputable musician in the Dutch scene. He is the founder of the ‘BOSCO jazz and pop orchestra’, an esteemed 10-piece collective that works with all kinds of artists and is touring through theatres and festivals for already more then two decades. One of BOSCO’s projects, for which Daan was the arranger and Musical Director, won an Edison in 2020.
Daan worked as an arranger with the Metropole Orchestra conducted by Vince Mendoza in 2005, the Liptease Big Band (arranger, lead trumpet player) from 2014 to 2018, the Rotterdam Ska Jazz Foundation from 2015 to 2018 (trumpet player and arranger, several European tours) and played with various bands and orchestras like the Dutch Royal Navy Orchestra and JayDee Brassband (multiple European tours). Artists he worked with are Johnny Rosenberg, Steffen Morrisson, Denis Jannah, Joke Bruijs, Nurlaila Karim, Lilian Bouttée, Shirma Rouse, Trijntje Oosterhuis, Linda Wagemakers, Dennis van Aarssen, Stef Bos, Joris Rasenberg, Adam Rapa, Eric Vloeimans and Benjamin Herman to name a few. He won several prizes as a big band conductor.
