Over Clayton Peroti

The musical career of Surinamese-born Clayton Peroti has taken him to major stages, both domestically and internationally. As lead singer of the Kasimex House Band, among others, he toured Suriname, French Guiana, and the Netherlands. He performed at Disco Mania and Motown Mania in Curaçao and was a member of the Rotterdam gospel trio G-Roots. He also starred in several musical productions, like Tarzan (for which he won the John Kraaijkamp Musical Award), Dreamgirls, The Lion King and theatre productions ‘The Soul Of Motown’, ‘Soulbrothers’ and ‘Soul Celebration’.

Versatile bassist with a conservatory background and a passion for soul, funk and fusion. Toured with the Ana Popovic Band for over ten years and performs with The Time Bandits and NW FRQNC.

Martin Djababoe

Guitarist of Moluccan roots with over 30 years of experience in the Dutch pop scene. Performed with Thomas Berge and Alain Clarke, and combines his musicianship with a career as a professional dancer and choreographer.

Born in Curaçao, known from various Dutch television singing competitions. An artist with an exceptionally high vocal range and soulful sound, celebrated both in the Netherlands and across the Dutch Caribbean.

Percussionist of Dutch-Moluccan roots performing on the world’s biggest stages since 1985. Has shared the stage with Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder and Phil Collins, and was voted Best Percussionist of the Benelux twice.

Session musician with 40 years of experience, voted best keyboard player in the Netherlands by his fellow musicians. Has worked with Marco Borsato, Beth Hart and Floor Jansen, and teaches at the Rock Academy in Tilburg.
