For more than 50 years, Earth, Wind & Fire has been synonymous with groovy disco beats and packed dance floors. As runner-up of the SBS6 television program ‘The Tribute, Battle of the Bands’ in season 2, The Chicago Funk page has proven that the magic of old soul, funk & disco is still alive. During their theater tour they also got everyone dancing to the music of Earth, Wind & Fire!
De originele popgroep Earth, Wind & Fire staat bekend om de hoge noten van Phillip Bailey, het warme geluid van Maurice White en de herkenbare stem van Ralph Johnson. Deze kenmerkende stemmen moesten blijven en geëerd worden. Die stemmen zijn gevonden in de Nederlandse artiesten Nigel Brown, Clayton Peroti en Clifton End.
Alle hits zoals ‘Boogie Wonderland’, ‘In the Stone’, ‘After the Love has Gone’ en natuurlijk wereldhit ‘September’ komen voorbij. Verwacht diverse extravagante kostuumveranderingen, de kenmerkende hoge zangnoten en groovy en meeslepende beats. “Als jij je ogen dicht doet, dan moet Earth, Wind & Fire voor je staan”, dat is het uitgangspunt van deze 13-koppige tributeband.
